Every garment tells a story, and the best stories are meant to be shared. We founded The Archivist because we believe extraordinary pieces shouldn't spend their lives in storage—they deserve to be worn, admired, and taken out for a ride.

Our Story

Our lending library brings together museum-quality vintage from private collectors and professional archives in New York City. Garments from the 1920s through the early 2000s are available for your weekend, some may be added to your own personal collection.

Our team brings decades of experience from the experience from the worlds of conservation, styling, buying, and of course we are also collectors.
